Summary: Another story with Connor and Tron!
A suspected deviant android escapes and Tron suggests to Connor another way to stop him besides using his gun./p>
“Damn it. The suspect's getting away!” Hank exclaims.
Indeed, the deviant android runs, moving further and further away from the duo.
“I'll take care of him,” Connor shouted to his partner as he was already chasing after him.
Connor, being deviant himself, had his gun in his right hand. He was ready to shoot, lethally if necessary, when a familiar voice echoed among the codes that formed his consciousness.
< Wait! >
“Tron?”
< Use my identity disc. >
“Why? A bullet does the job just fine.”
< Trust me. >
The deviant tries to hide by ducking into narrow alleys. Connor is still following him.
“Alright.”
Connor focuses his internal codes. His gun disappears into pixelated black cubes. Other cubes, blue in color, appear and transform into Tron's identity disc. Connor doesn't have to take it because it's already in his right hand.
“Surrender, Deviant!” Conner said sternly to the suspect before throwing the disc.
Tron had reduced the impact power of his identity disc before it appeared in Connor's hand. As soon as it touches the deviant android, he screams and his body, paralyzed, collapses to the ground. The disc returns to Connor's hand. The RK800 android reaches the suspect, lifts his limp body and tells him he is under arrest on suspicion of murder.
When Hank reunites with his partner, he notices the disc in his right hand.
“Connor, what's that thing?”
“What thing?” asks Connor, passing the disc from his right hand to his left and hiding it behind his back.
“Don't be a pain in the ass!” Hank said, raising his voice. “Show me.”
“Okay,” said Connor, showing him his left hand, which was holding not the disc but his gun.
“What the fuck is this? Where is it?”
“Where is what, Hank? I don't understand,” Connor said in a naive, innocent voice.
“Shit!” Hank exclaims. “I know you're hiding something from me. I don't know what it is yet, but I'm going to find out. Fuck! I thought you trusted me!”
He then orders Connor to take the suspect back to the police car. While Connor does as he is told and Hank waits for him in the car in the driver's seat Tron's voice speaks to him again.
< Maybe you should tell him about me. He could help us understand why I'm here, in your world, inside you, and where Yori is. >
Connor didn't respond to Tron. Honestly, he doesn't want to get Hank involved in this.
